Bayside Brewery & Restaurant
Erieau is home to great sport fishing, a fantastic beach and lively community. It is now also home to Chatham-Kent’s first micro-brewery. Bayside Brewing Company is now serving its Long Pond Lager at its tasting room on the village’s main street. You can enjoy it here in Erieau, or take a Growler home and share it with your friends. Erieau Pier- Birding Primary Site
The pier is an excellent location to spot a variety of birds that come through this area. Specifically, Warblers including Yellow-rumped, Common Yellowthroat, Orange-Crowned, Nashville and the Warlbing Vireo. This area has also been known to spot bluebirds, Red-headed Woodpeckers, and Hermit Thrushes. Beachcombers can relax on Erieau beach or enjoy a walk along the narrow pier toward the lighthouse that is surrounded by Lake Erie.

McGeachy Pond Conservation Area
Located on the north shore of Lake Erie, McGeachy Pond is a Provincially Significant Wetland, and an Area of Natural and Scientific Interest. Enjoy viewing the Monarch Butterfly fall migration along this lakeshore habitat. There is an observation platform in the conservation area providing excellent viewing of the lake, pond, and wildfowl. Two fishing docks, a walking trail and picnic table are also located here.
